Friday. All inhabitants of Millsburg enjoyed in Chamber of Commerce weather all week. We need a little rain, but to get three or four perfect spring days in the first week of May is worth some brown turf grass in a couple of months. Not sure I remember what clouds looks like.

Happy 94th Birthday Pete

Today the Mini is going to visit Jean.
The alien will be crossing the state line, stopping at Trader Joes to get more Giant White Beans.

This is one happy Alien.

The junk mail pile had a card hawking the final blowout building about to be torn down sale event.  Another shopping institution, Gone but Not Forgotten.
When Playtogs went out of business LKD, fueled by 90% off sales filled multiple carts with all kinds of stuff. Stuff that you may only find at a place like Thruway or Playtogs.

Power Washer Round Two

As soon as the O rings have been replaced the beast will ready to unleash a watery blast on the deck and everything within ten yards. The power washer has only been used a couple of times. Already the O rings blew out of the hose connection. That's some raw blasting power! Hope that Low-ees sells O Rings by the handful!
There is no doubt. This machine removes crap on stuff in a few minutes. After about twenty minutes to get used to using the power washer it is possible to remove dirt and not your stuff.
The owner's manual does not specify how far one of the little nozzles will travel if it is not secure onto the end of the hose. There is water in places that a normal person would have thought improbable.

The deck looks great. A few days of drying before some stain can be slathered on.

This old stump was out in the woods so ......why not?
Power washed and ready for some future project.

The center of Millsburg is on the way to Centerville.
Millsburg Road is really interesting, however multiple, at this spot. If your GPS can navigate through Millsburg then it's a keeper.

Now that there is a week of posts on my new blog I will need to learn how to add the "read more" button. There are lots of tricks and kicks to learn about blogging.

Pretty sure that weekend blogs will be infrequent. Have a great one. Time for a cold one.

  1. I'm digging the stump as an awesome table. With the roots supporting the glass, or some other clear material that won't break easy.

    1. Love the table idea. Stumpy is a bit fragile even though it survived the power blaster. LKD has selected the place of honor... Stay connected and check back soon for an update from stumpy.
