Millsburg Road

The house in Millsburg is at the end of Millsburg Road. Technically the house is on Rome School Road. The transition from one road to another is simply a bridge. There is no intersection, rather the bridge over the creek forms the town line where Millsburg Road ends and Rome School begins.

Proceed west from the house in Millsburg and go up the hill and there is an intersection where the county road and Millsburg Road intersects. Millsburg Road shoots off to a now defunct section of roadway where most of the inhabitant of Millsburg reside, including the Mayor of Millsburg.

There is an old bridge over the creek that has been closed for years. Millsburg road continues on the other side of the bridge (you can't get there from here) and joins the county road for a short distance. Soon Millsburg Road branches off and heads up O'Brien's hill past Toad Pasture and ends at the top of the hill at US Route Six.

Today all the deposit bottles and cans took a trip from Millsburg to the redemption center. The proceeds were converted to Lotto and Megaball tickets. The mega jackpot is getting close to four hundred million bucks.

The winning ticket is now safely back in Millsburg..... Hey, You never Know. How does that saying go? "An empty bunch of cans and a dream...."
