Today the weather promises another awesome spring day. The power washer is ready to de-stain the deck and Adirondack chairs. At least this was the plan, until I agreed that I could also give the Mini from Millsburg an overdue spa treatment.
After quick shuttle service to deliver LKD off to work, and another cup of coffee, out came the power washer. This machine is the most fun you can have if you focus on that perfect filthy recipient.
The white algae covered chairs are now pretty clean and the patio has been hydro swept.

The Mini is ready for a bath.

Distant Fire station whistles remind me of the leftover chile we had on Tuesday.

mmmm.....Lunch

The chile was even better the second time around. Giant White Beans from Trader Joes was the new secret ingredient. They are the size of a quarter, nice and plump. They come in a jar with sunflower oil, tomato paste and some Greek magic. LKD is going to get some more on Saturday!
The bananas are biding their time. The Food Channel "The best thing I ever made" show has intrigued me. Banana Shrimp. Sound suspect I know but the first ingredient is a totally beyond ripe, black banana. I am thinking Saturday will be perfect. More to follow. If all works out the recipe will be posted. I would do it now but am yet to acquire the skill linking the blog to anything.

Ready for Motoring

Soon it will be time to make the trek to pick up LKD.
We are going over the land of cheap gas. LKD is intent on a pedicure and I need a few things from Low-ees. Looking forward to a nice Mini ride over the mountain.

The deck and Adirondack chairs will wait for another day (soon)!
This is the fourth day that I have posted to the blog place called www.millsburgmedia.blogspot.com
Still need to spend a few hours learning some tips and tricks.
No doubt there is a rainy day coming up.
