The Racoons need to Go

Rain has arrived overnight. The raccoons have decided to have a snack from the new compost pile outside. This will be a challenge but the raccoons need to find a new home.

Waiting to hear how Jean is making out in the hospital. She is getting checked out following a fall this morning. (Update - Jean is on the way home and has some bruises and pains. She will be feeling better in a couple of days).

There are still many boxes of stuff to sort out downstairs. I am sure some more questionable items (horder or collector) will be discovered as the purge continues in the workshop.

 Somewhere under this mess is an actual working computer (and a desk)! The next couple of hours went by quickly and the piles of crap have been dispatched.











Not sure when I may need some PS2 Keyboards, serial cables, assorted connectors and Hard Drives.

Hopefully the landfill will be having a recycle day soon!




This train set was apparently my mother's childhood toy. I found it among the stuff piled on the desk. Not sure all the details but Dad brought it over here a while back. This train will find a place of honor somewhere in the Millsburg house.




Getting Ready to Attract Some Hummingbirds


 

While checking on what defense to mount against the raccoon I discovered a new addition to the back yard. There is a brand new nest and 3 robin eggs built on the trellis. The robins were not happy this picture was taken.

After a quick trip out of Millsburg I returned with yet another head for Henny to try. This one incorporates a hummingbird feeder. Henny does like to hang with the tiny birds.

LKD has arrived home from seeing the tooth fairy lady. It is time to make some Tacos!
