Still time for some Spring Cleaning

Scrubbing the floors is not on my list of favorite past times. Since the day started out with some left over rain showers the time seemed right to clear out the dining room and start scrubbing.
A few hours later and the floors were nice and clean!

In the work shop there was a couple of cans of a floor polish called Wood Preen. Not sure where it came from but it sounded like it would bring some new life to the wood floors.
The kitchen area got a good dose of the stuff and it seems to clean and apply a wax like coating. Tomorrow may be a good day to do some more areas with Wood Preen.

Since the floors had to dry the table also got a slathering of tung oil. A second coat tomorrow and the table will be like new!

The temp outside is rising and the next couple of days are predicted to be hot, muggy, hotter and sort of uncomfortable. We cook more chickens on Sunday for the Lucky Bucks BBQ so hopefully it is not too crazy hot. At least there will be a beer truck!
